• WISHART is a son of deceased successful Greenvale Park stallion PRIDE OF KELLINA who threw tough, high quality gallopers the likes of BUCK'S PRIDE and JOSS STICKS. The now deceased BUCK'S PRIDE stood successfully at stud briefly following his racing career which included running 2nd in the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 in 1993 to Unequalled. He also won the Group 2 Doomben Robins Kitchen Cup on two occasions and was retired the winner of 21 races and $654,350. Another son of Pride of Kellina was JOSS STICKS who won 14 races from 1400 metres to 2600 metres and earned $676,096. His best racetrack efforts included winning the 1998 Newcastle Gold Cup at Group 2 level before running a great 3rd in the Group 1 Doomben Cup of 1999 to Intergaze.
• WISHART’S himself was a tough and durable racehorse who raced between the ages of 2YO and 8YO inclusive. He won metropolitan races at ages 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.
• WISHART won 14 races, ran 12 seconds and 4 thirds and earned $343,590 in his career. He was placed in six listed races.
• WISHART’S dam BEAUTIFUL VICTORY when mated to little known sire Seascay produced top class 2YO SEA ZULU, who won five 2YO races including the prestigious Great Northern 2YO Plate in Townsville.
